40Summary:
The advanced-level Clinical Risk Coordinator leads the department’s risk management strategy. This level provides expert guidance on risk mitigation, oversees risk-related initiatives, and ensures compliance with all regulatory standards.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university required.
5 years’ minimum experience in a healthcare setting required.
2 years’ experience in healthcare risk management, accreditation, quality improvement or patient safety, including project management or leadership experience.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
Must be proficient in incident management software.
Must have expertise managing complex projects.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification
Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas or minimally required experience in a healthcare setting.
