Position Purpose:

The Clinical Practice Leader will lead the safety and quality initiatives throughout Chelsea Hospital to improve nursing-sensitive outcomes.  This position will help identify and lead the implementation of quality improvement activities through the development, oversight and coordination of detailed work plans and gap analysis of various internal constituents and external agencies.  This position assists with the analyses; review trends/research and develops new and more efficient approaches to care of the patients at Chelsea hospital.  The Chelsea Clinical Practice Leader for Nursing works to maximize the impact on operational efficiency, incentive reimbursement, nursing-sensitive patient outcomes, and our nursing Magnet journey.

Shift Available: Day Shift

Status Available: Full time, benefit eligible (Exempt position – 80 hours per pay period – every two weeks)

Required Qualifications

  • Education:   Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) required
  • Experience: Three to five years of nursing experience with demonstrated leadership or quality improvement skills.
  • Certification/Licensure: Current registered Nurse with a current Michigan license.
  • Green Belt or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred
