FT 4 10 hour shifts per week, M-F with leadership call rotation.
Under the direction of the Department Director, and Patient Care Manager (PCM), the Clinical Nurse Coordinator/Educator is responsible on a shift basis for the operations of a specific clinical unit such that it complies with hospital and nursing philosophy, policies, and procedures. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator/Educator assists the Department Director and or Patient Care Manager (s) in ensuring the delivery of safe patient care through the nursing process by assisting with patient care issues, providing education and serving as clinical resource to staff during the assigned shift. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator works with the Professional Development Department to ensure all staff are compliant with required education and routinely assess the clinical competencies for appropriate staff. rec:max
Preferred QualificationsCurrent unrestricted AL or Multi State RN licensure; BSN preferred. 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred, 3 years recent L&D experience.
Skills Required
- Current unrestricted Alabama or Multi-State Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- 3 years recent Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience
