Job Summary:
Join the American Centrifuge Program as a Lead RMDC Specialist, where you’ll play an essential role in ensuring the smooth and secure management of records and controlled documents. With limited supervision, you will help administer and enhance the Records Management Document Control (RMDC) program—supporting the control, distribution, maintenance, storage, and retrieval of vital Records and Controlled Documents that keep operations running efficiently.
What You Will Do:
In this role, you’ll step in as Acting RMDC Manager during absences, guide and support RMDC Specialists, and help manage documents and records within the Electronic Data Management System (EDMS). You will assist in implementing administrative controls related to receiving, identifying, distributing, and maintaining approved controlled documents, records, and forms. Your responsibilities also include maintaining accurate databases, ensuring compliance with NRC/DOE RMDC requirements, and supporting proper handling and filing of classified and unclassified records—including periodic inventories. You’ll contribute to regular assessments of the RMDC program, gather and assemble routine data for reporting purposes, and help identify and resolve data discrepancies. Additionally, you may train personnel on eDOCs and RMDC compliance requirements, provide project support as needed, and perform other duties assigned by the RMDC Manager.

- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- 2+ years of administrative office experience and/or document and records management experience
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to compliance and departmental development
- Demonstrated PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office software
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a “Q” level security clearance
A Successful Candidate Brings:
- Associate’s degree (A.S., A.A.) or other specialized or technical training
- Formal training in document and file management
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat
- Records Management and Document Control (RMDC) experience in a regulatory industry.
- Active “Q” or Top Secret Clearance
Pay:
Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $54,299-$90,499. This position is Bonus eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. While the posted range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position, compensation above the range may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience.

This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.

Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
