Wealth Management (WM) Platforms manages industry-leading platforms, across all WM channels and client segments, to provide a unified digital experience, unlock growth, and deliver efficiencies for Advisors, Clients, and Institutions. WM Platforms consists of ten sub-teams including: Field Experience & Platforms, Digital Client Experience & Platforms, Workplace Platforms, Automation & Workflow, Digital Trading & Investing, Generative AI, UX Design & Research, Strategy & Execution, WM Platforms Risk, and the Chief Operating Office.
The Business Control Unit (BCU) within Wealth Management Platforms Risk has core responsibilities including, but not limited to, operational risk management, incident management, risk acceptances, risk and control self-assessment via the Non-Financial Risk Assessment (NFRA) framework, policy and procedures coordination, issue and action plan management, audit and Compliance exam preparation and management, licensing and registration review, committee and/or new product approval materials coordination, business continuity planning (BCP) coordination, and entitlements management.
The Team partners and supports businesses managing platforms which include: Digital Direct Web and Mobile , Wealth Management Generative AI, Digital Trading and Investing, Digital Assets, Asset Movement, Automation and Workflow, Contact Center support and New Account Opening (NAO) and maintenance.
What you’ll do in the role:
- Provide overall Risk support and coverage for WM Platforms.
- Assist in the management of, and act as the central point of contact for Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, and external regulatory reviews to ensure coordination of informational requests with impacted areas and timely responsiveness.
- Lead and participate in Audit preparation prior to kickoff; Assist in drafting final audit reports, inclusive of language editing and creation of action plans based on potential findings.
- Manage Issues and Action Plans through completion, ensuring engagement and accountability of stakeholders, as well as engagement with Audit and Compliance regarding status and progress.
- Collaborate with Platforms Business Units regarding the Non-Financial Risk Assessment (NFRA), operational incident reporting and potential fraud matters.
- Prepare presentations, metrics, reports and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to present informative data to the business and other relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in the development and execution of a comprehensive entitlement and governance framework, as necessary, to ensure protection of, and justification for systems access.
- Collaborate with control partners across areas including, but not limited to: WM Risk, Internal Audit, Legal, Compliance Privacy, Vendor Management, Chief Data Office, Fraud, Operations, Operations, Model Management, Technology Risk, and Generative AI Governance, as needed.
- Support the business in the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update Business Continuity Planning (BCP) per Firm guidelines.
- Partner with the businesses to maintain and document reviews and attestations related to : Vendor Management, Licensing and Registration, Tools/EUCs, Models, and Tools inventories per Firm guidelines
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Services, Risk Management, Compliance, Governance, Control or Audit roles, with Wealth Management experience preferred
- Understanding of the Wealth Management business, Digital Assets, and Fraud Prevention risks and controls preferred
- Ability to effectively manage several key priorities simultaneously, with focus on time management and prioritization
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving business priorities
- Ability to lead and work closely with various senior business, functional, and risk management stakeholders
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate and promote teamwork
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Preferred but not required:
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
