As a Portfolio Risk Senior Associate within the Portfolio Management team, you will help deliver analytics and insights that inform strategy and critical business decisions for the ~$100B Commercial Term Lending (CTL) portfolio. You will partner with cross-functional teams, leverage data from multiple sources, and translate analysis into clear, measurable actions. You will also support additional analytical projects to develop data-driven strategies and promote the ongoing health of the CTL portfolio.
Job responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of data solutions to source, combine, and transform data from multiple systems for CTL analytics and reporting.
- Develop a strong understanding of CTL portfolio data and identify opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency, and insight generation.
- Monitor portfolio performance and market trends; track key risk metrics and communicate findings related to risk alerts and emerging trends
- Build scalable analytics and self-service reporting; design, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reports that deliver portfolio and market insights.
- Partner with Controls and Compliance to ensure analytical tools, reporting, and related processes align with firmwide policies and standards.
- Contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis and ability to develop practical solutions from complex data.
- 4+ years of experience across analytics platforms, languages, and tools such as Snowflake, AWS, Databricks, Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, Python, ThoughtSpot, or similar.
- Experience creating dynamic, interactive dashboards and reporting assets that drive insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present findings clearly.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

- Financial services experience, particularly in data and analytics.
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
