Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Risk Cost Analyst to be based in Sacramento, CA.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Risk Cost Analyst will provide best practices to identify potential areas of refinement to detecting, monitoring, and supporting the management of risks to ensure the Program’s success. The role involves conducting risk assessments, preparing reports, and advising senior management on strategies to minimize and manage risks.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct regular risk assessments across project processes to identify potential threats to project continuity and performance
  • Monitor internal and external factors that could impact the project’s risk profile
  • Analyze and quantify risks using qualitative and quantitative methods, including risk modeling, scenario analysis, and data analytics
  • Assess financial, operational, legal, regulatory, and reputational risks to determine appropriate mitigation strategies
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and monitor risk mitigation strategies and control measures
  • Prepare comprehensive risk reports for senior management, highlighting key risks, potential impacts, and recommended actions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of risk assessments, mitigation plans, and related documentation

 

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Experience working in large-scale programs or multi-disciplinary teams
  • Ability to multi-task and assess competing competencies
