Job Description

Purpose of the Role

Assist the Global Head of Risk and Compliance, GCC and Senior Risk and Compliance Manager in the deployment and management of compliance monitoring programme for various Ocorian offices.  Responsible for various risk and compliance tasks for Ocorian Group.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the Compliance Monitoring Programme for various Ocorian offices.
  • Assist various Ocorian offices in the implementation of the Compliance Monitoring Programme.
  • Carrying out tests on the business’ level of compliance with Group Policies, local operational procedures and the effectiveness of these as part of the Compliance Monitoring Programme and report findings to the Head of Compliance in various Ocorian offices.
  • Collating information and assisting with the preparation of reports to provide key information to the Compliance Manager on both a regular and ad-hoc basis.
  • Train team members.
  • Oversee the work of the Compliance and Senior Risk and Compliance Analyst.
  • Deliver against agreed KPI.
  • Undertaking and/or assisting with risk and compliance related projects for Ocorian Group and other Ocorian offices.
  • Carrying out any compliance related function/activity as required by the Global Head of Risk and Compliance from time to time.

Qualifications

  • The post holder will hold at least a first degree in Law, Law and Management, Finance with Law (or equivalent) or a relevant professional compliance related qualification.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • 5 or more years of compliance experience.
  • Sound technical knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of international AML/CFT concepts and framework.
  • Good interpersonal skills are required to develop and maintain close working relationships with colleagues and third parties.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Enthusiasm and flexibility.
  • Able to deal comfortably with staff at all levels.
  • Methodical and accurate approach with an eye for detail.
  • Working as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • The ability to manage time effectively and to prioritise and organise workflow.
  • Analytical and investigative skills.
