- Participate in less complex analysis and modeling initiatives, and identify opportunity for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation improvements within Risk Management
- Review and analyze programing models to extract data, and manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial modeling, and exercise independent judgment to guide new and existing projects with medium risk deliverables
- Coordinate and consolidate the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for more experienced management

- Collaborate and consult with peers, managers, experienced managers, compliance, including various lines of business
- 2+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

- Strong hands-on Tableau, Power BI (DAX, Power Query M, model design), SQL, and Excel.
- Proven experience with data validation/reconciliation, test evidence, and UAT/release cycles.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into metrics, visuals, and insights; strong communication/storytelling.
- Working knowledge of JIRA (epics, stories, boards, sprint ceremonies).
- Experience running BI assets through Dev/UAT/Prod environments with version control and structured procedure docs / runbooks.
- Familiarity with data governance (lineage, glossary, RLS, certified datasets) and peer review practices.
- Exposure to risk and controls in financial services (e.g., KRIs/KPIs, reconciliation standards, release approvals).
Reporting:
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau and Power BI datasets, semantic models, and reports (DAX, Power Query M), optimizing for performance, usability, and reliability.
- Implement row-level security, certified datasets, and dashboard usage monitoring to drive adoption and trust.
- Coordinate UAT, manage deployments, and perform post-release validation using a structured Dev → UAT → Prod workflow with version control.
- Build robust data preparation pipelines (Power Query/SQL) with standardized profiling, cleansing, and transformation rules.
- Establish data quality controls (reconciliation checks, threshold alerts, outlier detection) and maintain validation packs / evidence for audits and release approvals.
- Translate business questions into metrics, KPIs/KRIs, and analytical views; surface trends, exceptions, and root causes with crisp narratives.
- Partner with product/process owners to prioritize value, quantify impact, and recommend actions supported by data.
- Adhere to enterprise governance: change & release management, access management, documentation standards, and peer reviews.
- Maintain data lineage, glossary/definitions, and control inventories for reports and datasets; ensure timely periodic attestations and operational runbooks are current.
- Drive evidence-based compliance (tests, sign-offs, E2E traceability) for each release cycle.
- Use JIRA to manage the backlog: write clear epics/stories, define acceptance criteria, track sprints, and reconcile story status with release notes.
- Provide transparent status, risks, and dependencies; engage stakeholders during planning, reviews, and retros.
