THE WORK:

Ripple is expanding, and we are seeking a dynamic and versatile Trading and Markets Manager for our Singapore office. This role is pivotal for a proactive, innovative individual who excels in a determined environment. Your primary focus will be on a broad range of digital assets and FX markets, with trading and trading technology as your core areas of responsibility.

A strong candidate will have profound experience in electronic trading in traditional and/or crypto markets, and understands liquidity dynamics (order books, market-microstructure, liquidity provision, etc.). The candidate will have a demonstrated experience of building up trading systems and teams, and will both have hands-on accomplishments and project management exposure.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Help execute the team’s strategy around liquidity by supporting the design and architecture specifications or the trading platform, and coordinating the effort of the trading team and a global engineering group
• Design and own robust processes to ensure operational efficiency and security, and eventually improve profitability
• Coordinate analysis and present novel ideas to cross-functional teams, and leadership
• Help build robust analytics and craft clear, data-driven visualizations and presentations to help with market performance assessments for a variety of audiences, including Ripple’s external partners, customers, and our own senior leadership
• Work with internal teams in supporting the broader company’s efforts
• Support trading operations and technology initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and optimization.
• Engage in market analysis and research to identify trends and opportunities in digital assets and FX trading.
• Assist in managing relationships with market makers, liquidity providers, and other key market participants.
• Provide insights and analysis to enhance trading strategies and market understanding.
• Participate in the creation and optimization of risk management tools and methodologies.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related analytical field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in trading, finance, or related fields, with a focus on digital assets and FX.
• Strong proficiency in Python/NumPy/Pandas or similar technology stacks is a must. Solid SDLC practice would be an advantage.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electronic trading in digital assets and/or FX markets.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and partners.
• Passion for blockchain, fintech, markets, and technological innovation in trading. Web3-curious need not apply
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail. Strategy consulting experience will be considered favorably
