SUMMARY

The RFQ Administrator provides critical coordination and administrative support related to the Request for Quotation process.  Position provides the vital link to ensure RFQ communication is thorough and timely, as well as providing overall administrative support for the Product Engineering Department. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

·         Review incoming RFQs for correct type, included attachments, and included or needed details from Sales personnel.

·         Administers the release and closure of RFQs and RFQ related SAP workflows.

·         Follow up on the status and estimated completion time of RFQs to communicate with Sales.

·         Assist in the tracking and reprioritization of non-RFQ related workflows.

·         Create Product Codes following existing Madix methodology for newly designed products.

·         Administrative support of the Product Engineering department, including purchase requisitions and maintaining office supplies.

·         Weekly support activities including creating RFQ/WF summary reports for executive staff meetings.

·         Support external and internal sales personnel in locating existing Madix products.

·         Support of Product Design department personnel on tasks such as file conversion and organization

QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess good communications skills and be comfortable dealing with diverse groups and individuals throughout the organization.  Must have a good working knowledge of computers including MS Suite.  ERP (ie SAP) experience a plus. Knowledge of Madix products is a plus, knowledge of product family structure and engineering BOMs and Engineering drawings is a requirement.   


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Lift up to 50 pounds, walk the shop floor, walk up and down stairs


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED required.  Associates or Bachelor degree preferred.

Skills Required
