ADI’s Aerospace and Defense, Module group is seeking a motivated experienced RF test engineer within its growing team in Ireland. The group develops System in Package (SiP) products ranging from 1GHz up to 70GHz for commercial, military, and space applications.

This exciting role will offer the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the industry’s leading RF and microwave professionals. It will involve collaboration with many engineering disciplines such as RF/microwave design engineers, product engineers, quality engineers, and manufacturing engineers.

The successful candidate will work closely with the RF design team to characterize the RF SiP products and develop an automated test solution for mass production. This will involve the design of Hardware Interface Test boards and software development on the automated RF test platform. You will get exposure to advanced RF measurement techniques from a team of experienced engineers with excellent mentorship skills.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Development and debug of software to automate RF measurements in mass production.
  • Development and debug high-performance RF PCBs for Final Test and Probe.
  • Supporting the debug, characterization, and qualification of new RF SiP products.
  • Creating documentation that supports the release of the test solution to manufacturing.
  • Contributing to Design for Testability (DFT) and Built-In-Self-Test (BIST) requirements. Supporting Full Factory Cost (FFC) reduction activities and improving testability.
  • Work within a multi-disciplined project team.

Qualifications/Characteristics

  • Bachelor's degree with significant electronic engineering content or equivalent, with +2 years of experience.
  • Firm grasp of the basic concepts of analog RF and microwave electronics.
  • Self-motivated and analytical.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills.
  • Capable of analyzing and comparing data.
  • Knowledge of software languages, ideally C/C++
  • Good planning and organizational skills
