RF Network Planning & Deployment Engineer
About the Role
We are hiring an RF Network Planning & Deployment
Engineer to lead RF design, site surveys, and deployment of 4G/5G small
cell and private 5G networks across smart city, industrial, and government use
cases.
This role combines planning + field execution,
ensuring strong RF performance in real-world environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan
RF coverage & capacity for LTE / 5G (Sub-6 GHz) networks
- Perform link budget, propagation modelling, and interference analysis
- Design small cell deployments (indoor/outdoor)
- Conduct site surveys, installation, and commissioning
- Execute drive tests / walk tests and optimize network performance
- Analyses
KPIs (RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, throughput) and improve coverage
- Prepare RF design, deployment, and optimization reports
- Collaborate
with customers, government agencies, and internal teams
Requirements
Required Skills
- Experience
in RF planning & deployment (LTE/5G)
- Proficiency
in tools like Atoll / Asset / Planet
- Strong
knowledge of 3GPP technologies (LTE, NR, NB-IoT)
- Hands-on
with drive test tools (TEMS, NEMO)
- Expertise
in link budget & propagation models (COST-231, ITU-R)
- Good
understanding of antenna systems (MIMO, beam forming)
Good to Have
- Experience
in private 5G / enterprise networks
- Knowledge
of back haul (microwave, fiber, mmWave)
- Exposure
to network synchronization (PTP, GPS)
- Familiarity
with O-RAN architecture
- Basic
scripting (Python / MATLAB)

Skills Required
- 4–10 years of experience in RF planning and deployment for LTE and 5G networks
- Proficiency with RF planning tools such as Atoll, Asset, or Planet
- Strong knowledge of 3GPP technologies, including LTE, NR, and NB-IoT
- Hands-on experience with drive test tools such as TEMS or NEMO
- Expertise in link budgets and propagation models, including COST-231 and ITU-R
