- Plan and perform all required operations to set-up and operate production machinery following accepted methods and procedures within required standards/Keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly at all times. Clean machinery, fixtures, pallets and or tooling/Report any equipment or material problems to supervisor which cannot be resolved within the department/Maintain all equipment inspection, maintenance, and production reports. /Provide training for lesser skilled operators./Ability to run Polishing equipment./Perform other duties as required or directed including performing primary operator responsibilities for finishing processes during absence of primary operator/Ability to use computers for input and retrieval of information/Effectively communicate problems, determine root causes and recommend corrective action to material and process issues./Ability to make sound financial decisions when dispositioning non conforming material./Creatively problem solve ways to not only repair non conforming material, but prevent it from reoccurring/Ability to work with computer software to effectively review current inventory and future demand./Ability to determine the appropriate path of disposition for non conforming material that will have the least financial impact to the company.
