I’m Jannike Grüner, Head of People & Culture Norway, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us.

Telia is on a transformation journey to become the leading purpose-driven digital telco in the Nordics and Baltics. This shift places increasing expectations on how we design and manage reward—moving towards a more digital, data-driven and strategically integrated People & Culture function. Reward plays a critical role in enabling this transformation—ensuring competitive, compliant and performance-driven structures that support both business priorities and employee engagement.

Is this your next opportunity?

As Reward Partner for Norway, you will be part of the Group Total Reward function, as well as Norwegian People & Culture, reporting to the Head of People & Culture Norway. You will operate in a highly collaborative Nordic setup, working closely with Reward Partners across all Telia markets.
In this role, you are not only responsible for local implementation, you act as a strategic advisor to business and senior leadership, ensuring that reward frameworks support business performance, governance, and long-term talent strategy.
You will take ownership of the Norwegian reward agenda while actively contributing to cross-country alignment, consistency, and development of global frameworks.

What you will do:

You will combine strategic advisory, operational ownership and cross-country collaboration, including:

  • Own and drive the local reward strategy and roadmap, aligned with business priorities, employee insights and group direction
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, People Partners, Payroll and Finance on compensation structures, incentive design and total reward positioning
  • Translate global reward frameworks into the Norwegian context, ensuring strong local relevance, compliance and market competitiveness
  • Lead and execute key reward processes (e.g. salary review, STI cycles, job architecture governance) with high quality, transparency and auditability
  • Drive data-driven decision-making through benchmarking, pay analytics and equity assessments
  • Oversee Workday-based reward processes, including setup, testing, cycle configuration and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation, collective agreements and governance requirements
  • Partner with People Partners and business stakeholders to anchor reward decisions and enable consistent execution
  • Contribute to global reward initiatives, bringing a strong perspective on practical implementation and cross-country alignment

Who you are:

You are a strategic and hands-on reward professional who thrives in a complex, international environment.

You bring a strong ability to:

  • Translate complex reward topics into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Balance business needs, cost considerations and governance requirements
  • Navigate matrix organizations and influence senior stakeholders across functions and markets
  • Combine analytical rigor with pragmatic execution
  • You take ownership, drive outcomes, and actively contribute to improving how reward is designed and delivered across the organization

Your experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within Reward, Compensation & Benefits or consulting
  • Experience advising senior leaders on salary structures, incentives, governance and pay decisions
  • Hands-on experience with annual reward cycles (union negotiations, salary review, STI, benchmarking, job architecture)
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including pay analysis, benchmarking and equity work
  • Experience working with HR systems such as Workday, including process and data ownership
  • Solid understanding of governance, compliance and preferably labor relations
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian

Why this role?

This is a role for someone who wants to shape reward—not just operate it.

You will:

  • Work at the intersection of strategy, analytics and execution
  • Influence how reward supports business performance and transformation
  • Be part of a Nordic reward network with significant impact and visibility
  • Contribute to building a modern, data-driven and aligned reward function
