Purpose of the role
This exciting Reward Manager role reports to the Reward Director and is responsible for the management of Reward in the SEA region. Our SEA region is made up of 6 Markets, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia.
In this role you’ll help to ensure our reward plans are aligned to regional and global reward principles and are designed to attract, engage and retain employees in SEA. You will also ensure the effective management of reward processes, benefits offerings and recognition schemes in the region.
Key Accountabilities
- Acts as a senior reward lead for the SEA cluster with accountabilities around recommending policies and practices to drive the people agenda forward, working closely with regional and global Reward teams to ensure alignment with global principles.
- Ensures rewards programs are effective, competitive, and aligned with business requirements and region/global Reward Policy and Strategy. work with the business to understand and diagnose people issues with a clear focus on the development of reward strategies to meet business objectives.
- Seamlessly manages our cyclical cycles for the cluster including the development of salary ranges, Annual Salary Review, Incentive and deferred reward schemes.
- Resolves complex benefits queries from employees and benefit vendors and negotiates competitive benefit programs/insurance offerings
- Advises on complex international mobility cases
Person Specification
- 6-10 years of related experience with broad-based HR partnering strengths in multi-national corporations
- Solid technical experience and expertise to deliver on key accountabilities
- Job matching and job evaluation experience
- Experience managing projects and providing well thought out deliverables
- Ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders at the global, regional and country level
- Able to be agile and adaptable in a fast moving, evolving environment
- Self-motivated and proactive with a “can-do” attitude to finding pragmatic solutions
- Highly numeric, structured and analytical with keen sense of attention to detail; Microsoft Excel “super user”
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resource Management or equivalent
- We are open to having this role based in Philippines, Malaysia.
