Background

Digital Green is implementing the RLHF (Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback) initiative to improve the quality and contextual relevance of agricultural advisory content. The initiative focuses on generating and refining location-specific Q&A pairs using a combination of AI systems, human expertise, and structured frameworks.

To support this effort, Digital Green is seeking qualified Reviewers to assess and enhance Q&A content before it proceeds to the validation stage.

Position Summary

The Reviewer will be responsible for evaluating and refining Q&A pairs to ensure they meet the standards of the Golden Q-A framework, including trustworthiness, contextual relevance, persuasiveness, and clarity. The role requires strong subject-matter expertise and the ability to critically assess and improve content for use by farmers and extension workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review 2000 Q&A pairs from farmers using the evaluation tool provided
  • Evaluate content against predefined criteria, including:
    • Technical accuracy
    • Contextual relevance
    • Clarity and usability
    • Inclusivity (gender and social considerations)
  • Enhance and refine Q&A content to improve quality and effectiveness
  • Provide detailed, actionable feedback to support continuous improvement
  • Participate in pilot/trial runs and contribute to workflow refinement
  • Maintain accurate records of reviewed content using project dashboards
  • Collaborate with validators and project teams to ensure alignment with quality standards

  • Climate-smart agriculture and resilience practices
  • Gender and social inclusion
  • Agricultural extension and advisory services

Key Deliverables

  • High-quality reviewed and enhanced Q&A pairs ready for validation
  • Detailed feedback and recommendations for content improvement
  • Monthly progress reports highlighting trends, insights, and challenges
  • Contributions to improving Q&A generation and review workflows
  • Consistent documentation of review decisions via the project dashboard

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree (or higher) in Agriculture, Agronomy, Climate Science, Gender Studies, Agricultural Extension, or a related field
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong understanding of climate-smart agriculture and gender-responsive approaches
  • Experience reviewing, editing, or developing technical agricultural content
  • Familiarity with AI-generated or digital advisory content is an added advantage
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and reporting skills

Reporting Line

The Reviewer will report to the Project Lead, Golden Q-A / RLHF Workstream and work closely with validators and other project stakeholders.

Time Commitment
This is a remote part-time contract role with an estimated duration of 5 months. Each Reviewer should be able to review ~2000 Q&A pairs per month.
