Designs and supports monitoring, evaluation, and applied research for FarmerChat in Kenya and Nigeria. Responsibilities include developing surveys and qualitative instruments, sampling, statistical analysis, linking survey and product data, coordinating field research, ensuring data quality and ethics, testing innovative AI-enabled and voice-based methods, and translating evidence into product and program recommendations. The role also maintains reproducible research documentation and collaborates with program, product, data, and external research teams.

Lead Product Operations for FarmerChat by building scalable operating processes across Product, Engineering, Design, Research, Growth, and other teams. Establish planning cadences, decision forums, lifecycle reviews, stakeholder alignment, roadmap visibility, and clear handoffs into engineering, beta, and production. Track dependencies, risks, decisions, and follow-through while synthesizing inputs for Product leadership. Improve organizational communication and ways of working without unnecessary bureaucracy.

Lead technical direction, architecture, delivery, reliability, and cost optimization across backend, frontend, mobile, and QA engineering. Manage and develop engineering managers and senior engineers, improve AI-first development workflows, oversee integrations with LLMs, SDKs, data pipelines, and analytics platforms, and ensure scalable, high-quality deployments in low-connectivity markets. Partner with Product, AI/ML, Data, Design, MEL, vendors, and external stakeholders to deliver FarmerChat’s global technology roadmap.

Lead development and production deployment of reliable computer vision and multilingual speech/audio systems for farmer-facing platforms. Build ASR, image, and video pipelines; develop evaluation, monitoring, security, and continuous-improvement frameworks; optimize models for edge deployment; and address noisy, low-resource agricultural contexts. Collaborate with product, backend, DevOps, security, and field teams while mentoring engineers.

Lead Digital Green's Nigeria strategy and country operations to scale FarmerChat. Build partnerships with government, donors, and private sector; adapt product to local languages and contexts; drive fundraising, team-building, compliance, and operational management to reach millions of smallholder farmers.

Design, build, and maintain BigQuery-based data pipelines and analytics foundations (ELT, dbt). Create dashboards and metrics tracking user acquisition, engagement, and retention. Stabilize infrastructure, partner with product/research/country teams, and establish analytics standards and recurring insights for leadership and donors.

Lead performance marketing to drive farmer acquisition, activation, and retention across paid and owned channels. Plan and optimize campaigns (Google/Meta), manage influencers and partnerships, build engagement workflows in MoEngage and Plotline, run A/B experiments, analyze growth metrics (D7/D14/D30, CTR, churn), and localize content and campaigns for regional markets.
