Revenue Operations Lead

In this role, you’ll be deeply embedded in the Commercial operations and day-to-day workings of nPlan, and you’ll play an important role in our success.

You’ll be working closely with our Commercial Director and Operations Lead, and will be responsible for managing and improving our systems and processes. You’ll be working on practices that support us as we scale, becoming an expert in our internal tools and seeking out opportunities to help automate and improve internal processes, helping nPlan to move faster. We’re highly ambitious, and we hope that you are too. You’re likely to be a fast learner, curious, and able to identify how and where improvements can be made.

We are on a mission to change how major construction projects are planned, managed and executed, utilising our unique data and Machine Learning technology. We aim to ensure no project is limited by unknown risks, and allow the sector to innovate at a faster pace.
You’ll be joining a world-class and well funded team, backed by top investors including Google Ventures, who all believe in the future we are creating.

What the role involves:

- Sales operations: manage, monitor and evolve internal sales policies, procedures and practices. Proactively seek, suggest and deliver improvements to drive operational efficiency.

- Analysis of complex sales data to produce insights for investors and the wider nPlan team.

- Ownership of Hubspot and commercial systems, as well as looking for ways to optimise and automate processes and investigating new tools to improve nPlan’s processes

- Fundraising support: You’ll work directly with the CEO to create compelling narratives using the metrics you manage to help raise the next round of capital for the company.

- Legal/compliance: ensure that we have the right documentation in place to work with customers through their procurement processes to ensure we find the money in our coffers in good time.

About you:

- 3+ years experience of working in a sales operations role

- You’re organised, proactive, meticulous, and detail-oriented. You’re not phased by working on multiple projects at the same time.

- You’re a problem-solver and you’ll tell us if you notice a way in which we can improve. You have demonstrable experience in project management and process improvement, which has directly contributed to the success of a company/project.

- You have high EQ and are able to communicate, engage with and manage well at all levels with nPlan, and with external suppliers and advisors.

- You notice the little things that need to be done, whilst always thinking about the bigger picture knowing the huge impact you have on our business.

- You have an eye for detail. If you’ve read this far, mention the word “crane” in your application :-)

Nice-to-haves:

- Experience of working in a fast-growing B2B or tech-based startup.

What working at nPlan will be like:

  • We are still a relatively small team so there is plenty of opportunity for exposure to and ownership of different areas of the business.
  • Your voice will always be heard. What you do or say counts, not who you are or where you're from.
  • We have three core values that underlie everything we do: Learn from Everything, Be Radically Truthful, and Aim High, Run Fast. These enable us to create a collaborative, inclusive environment where we can move effectively and efficiently to implement the best solutions.
  • We are a cross-disciplinary team, and come from all backgrounds and countries.
  • Fantastic benefits package for Health & Wellbeing, Learning & Development, family leave, monthly team meals and more.
  • Having time to yourself and a private life is important. We offer a very flexible work environment and a generous holiday policy.

What We Do

At nPlan we are building the world's first system to understand construction project planning. We make heavy use of machine learning to forecast outcomes of construction projects before the first shovel hits the ground.

Our vision is that all construction projects should be built on time and budget, through a better understanding of plan outcomes. We are bringing certainty of the outcome to the industry, plan first.

We will eliminate the crippling effects of poor planning and create a world where we’ve de-risked building infrastructure, enabling the construction of better buildings to help us live better lives.
