About the Role:

As a Revenue Operations Analyst at Planful, you will play a vital role in supporting the sales organization by ensuring efficient sales operations and processes. You will collaborate closely with the sales team, finance, and other cross-functional teams to streamline sales processes, maintain accurate data, and provide analytical insights. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of Planful by optimizing sales operations, driving data-driven decision-making, and supporting the overall sales strategy.

Responsibilities: 
  • Assist in the development and implementation of efficient sales processes and systems to support the sales team.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date entry of sales data into our CRM (Salesforce).
  • Provide ongoing technical support for the GTM team, including Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, Clari. 
  • Maintain and update sales documentation, including sales playbooks, standard operating procedures, and templates.
  • Support the implementation and adoption of new sales tools and technologies.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret sales data to generate reports, dashboards, and actionable insights.
  • Prepare regular sales performance reports, including pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
  • Identify trends and patterns in sales data, providing recommendations for process improvement and sales strategy optimization.
  • Coordinate and assist with sales operations projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and delivery.
  • Support the administration of sales tools, including user access, permissions, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform regular data audits to identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors.
  • Assist in data cleansing and data migration projects to ensure data integrity during system transitions or updates.
  • Support the Sales business function with ad-hoc reporting requests.

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in sales operations, sales support, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and sales analytics tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle and analyze large data sets.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet applications for data analysis and reporting.
  • Understanding of sales processes, sales methodologies, and sales performance metrics.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Experience with data modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Understanding of finance and budgeting processes related to sales operations.
  • SFDC Administration experience (certificate preferred).
  • Clari Administration experience.
