The Role
Marketer | Revenue Marketing - Japan

We are seeking a Marketer who will execute HubSpot's Revenue Marketing Strategy in Japan through prospecting plays, sales enablement campaigns, and targeted programs that directly drive pipeline growth and revenue. This role requires someone who thrives at the intersection of sales enablement, content adaptation, and campaign management - someone who can not only develop native plays, but also translate global marketing plays into locally relevant approaches that drive revenue growth.

You'll be developing Japan-specific plays across industry, competitive, and thematic campaigns while leveraging global Revenue Marketing frameworks and best practices. The ideal candidate is a hands-on marketer who excels at creating sales enablement assets, managing multi-channel campaigns, and building programs that drive measurable business results.

You will work closely with our APAC and global Revenue Marketing teams to leverage global campaign frameworks and best practices while ensuring local market relevance and sales team adoption for the Japan market.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute Revenue Marketing campaigns in Japan across various campaign types, for example,  Industry (vertical-specific), Competitive (competitor displacement), Global Themes (product launches/company initiatives), and Reactive Sales Plays (time-sensitive sales requests)
  • Create and adapt sales enablement assets including prospecting decks, dashboards, lists, workspaces, positioning materials, and sales playbooks tailored for the Japan Market
  • Serve as the primary marketing contact for Japan Sales and BDR Teams on Revenue Marketing campaigns and sales enablement, ensuring high adoption rates of prospecting plays and gathering feedback for continuous campaign optimization
  • Collaborate closely with Field Marketing and Integrated Marketing colleagues to ensure unified execution of Integrated Campaigns and share local market insights for program optimization
  • Leverage global campaign frameworks and content while adapting messaging, positioning, and assets for Japanese business culture and market dynamics
  • Track and analyze performance on deals, pipeline, and MRR generated through Revenue Marketing campaigns, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization
  • Leverage next-gen marketing and AI tools (e.g., Clay, SendSpark, Smartlead) to build personalized, multi-channel motions that scale.
  •
Qualifications:
  • Native Japanese speaker with business-level English proficiency and excellent communication skills in both languages
  • 3~5 years of B2B marketing experience with proven track record in campaign execution, Sales Enablement, or Revenue Marketing, ideally within SaaS environments, with ability to set campaign strategy and prioritize initiatives based on business impact
  • Experience creating and localizing B2B sales enablement content including prospecting decks, competitive positioning, and industry-specific messaging
  • Strong relationship-building skills with Sales and BDR Teams, with proven track record of driving high campaign adoption through effective enablement and collaboration
  • Exceptional project management abilities for managing multiple concurrent campaigns across different campaign types with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Data-oriented with ability to track campaign performance, pipeline attribution, and optimize programs based on measurable results
What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day:
  • Creating Native Revenue Campaigns, leveraging Global Revenue Marketing Campaigns where appropriate.
  • Creating prospecting decks, dashboards, lists, and workspaces that Sales and BDR Teams use daily for outbound prospecting
  • Conducting pre-campaign training sessions with Sales and BDR Teams to drive adoption of new prospecting plays and gather feedback
  • Writing and localizing campaign messaging, competitive positioning, and industry-specific content for the Japan Market
  • Collaborating with global Revenue Marketing teams to stay aligned on campaign launches while advocating for Japan Market needs
  • Managing campaign calendars across multiple concurrent initiatives (Industry, Competitive, Global Themes, Reactive)
  • Analyzing campaign performance data, sales adoption metrics, and pipeline impact to optimize future programs
What Makes This Role Exciting:
  • [Direct Revenue Impact] You'll be creating the prospecting plays and sales enablement assets that Japan Sales and BDR Teams use daily to close deals. Your campaigns directly influence pipeline generation and revenue growth, with clear attribution to business results.
  • [Strategic Sales Partnership] Working as the primary marketing contact for Japan Sales and BDR Teams on revenue programs, you'll build strong relationships that ensure high campaign adoption and deliver real value to sales productivity. Your work directly supports sales success.
  • [Global-Local Integration] You'll leverage HubSpot's global campaign frameworks and best practices while adding Japan Market expertise, positioning yourself at the intersection of global marketing innovation and local market execution. Your insights will influence both regional and global strategies.
