Revenue Management Systems Officer

Synopsis

As Product Specialist – Cargo Digital Systems, you will support the delivery, enhancement, and day-to-day evolution of Etihad Cargo’s digital platforms and commercial systems ecosystem, with a strong focus on the Cargo Booking Website, API integrations, and internally developed digital applications.

You will work closely with Product Owners, Cargo business stakeholders, DT&I, vendors, and development teams to gather requirements, define solutions, coordinate deliveries, perform testing activities, and support continuous product improvements.

The role combines product analysis, business process understanding, technical coordination, and hands-on support for digital product development initiatives. You will contribute to Agile product delivery while supporting the development and enhancement of web applications built primarily using JavaScript and React technologies.

This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities who are interested in developing broader technical, digital product, and application development skills.

  Accountabilities

•    Prioritize and coordinate the delivery of bug fixes, enhancements, and new releases for Cargo systems in collaboration with DT&I and Cargo stakeholders across Commercial and Operations.
•    Support the delivery of enhancements, fixes, integrations, and new features across Etihad Cargo digital platforms and Cargo systems.
•    Act as a key contributor for the Etihad Cargo Booking Website, supporting feature enhancements, business requirements gathering, testing activities, and coordination with vendors and developers.
•    Support integration projects between Cargo systems, customer platforms, and third-party applications.
•    Assist in the design, coordination, and delivery of small internal applications, automation tools, and operational support solutions.
•    Gather and document business requirements from Commercial, Revenue Management, Pricing, Sales, Operations, Customs, and Ground Handling stakeholders.
•    Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
•    Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
•    Coordinate closely with DT&I teams, vendors, and developers to ensure requirements and priorities are clearly understood.
•    Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and validation of delivered functionalities.
•    Track defects, support issue analysis, and coordinate resolution activities with vendors and technical teams.
•    Support monitoring of product usage, operational KPIs, and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
•    Contribute to UX improvements by supporting the design of intuitive and efficient user workflows.
•    Support lightweight technical activities such as data analysis, API testing, configuration validation, and basic scripting/automation initiatives.
•    Assist in maintaining documentation including release notes, process documentation, test scenarios, and knowledge articles.
•    Ensure solutions comply with Etihad standards related to security, governance, and operational reliability.

•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related discipline.
•    Minimum 3 years of experience in product analysis, digital products, system support, or business systems environments, preferably within cargo, aviation, logistics, or e-commerce industries.
•    Good understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
•    Familiarity with web technologies such as JavaScript, React, APIs, JSON, or modern web applications is preferred.
•    Experience supporting digital platforms, customer portals, or API integrations is an advantage.
•    Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and release coordination.
•    Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI, or automation tools is advantageous.
•    Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
•    Ability to work across business and technical teams in a collaborative environment.
