Revenue Management Analyst
*** Please note, all candidates must reside in the NYC Metro Area and be available to reliably commute onsite 3-4x/week.
Job Overview:
The Revenue Management team, within Convene’s Commercial team, is pivotal to our company's revenue performance and overall commercial success. As a Revenue Management Analyst, you will work closely with the NYC Regional Revenue Manager and the global commercial leadership team to make strategic decisions that maximize revenue opportunities and achieve our strategic goals. You will work with a vast data ecosystem that drives our revenue recognition, commercial strategy, financials, and product roadmap. Your insights and analysis will directly influence key business decisions on a global scale.
What you'll do:
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Leverage SQL, advanced Excel, and other scripting and statistical tools to identify trends and analyze data discrepancies. Create data visualizations to unlock revenue and sales trends across our products, presenting insights in digestible ways for stakeholders.
- Rate Adjustments: Support the implementation and management of rate adjustments in the system, ensuring accurate reflection of pricing strategies.
- Trend Analysis: Work closely with the Revenue Management and Pricing Optimization teams to identify inventory trends, develop quantitative analysis, ad-hoc reports, and models that assist in informing pricing decisions.
- Report Development: Build and maintain reports for revenue team metrics.
- Technical Collaboration: Work with strategic partners to expand their technical capabilities, creating a more robust data environment.
- Project Delivery: Support project delivery, including estimating timelines, identifying risks, and leveraging cross-functional resources.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present products to business users, seek feedback for continued improvement, and provide business analytics guidance to ensure quality project solutions.
- Efficiency Improvement: Identify opportunities and implement solutions to enhance efficiency within the Revenue Management team, including developing tools, processes, systems, and reports.
- Risk and Opportunity Identification: Proactively uncover and articulate risks and opportunities through data analysis, contributing to the overall revenue strategy.
What We Look For:
- Highly motivated with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new skills and a passion for career growth and professional development
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, or a similar analytical role.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, power query, and advanced formulas.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, speed to delivery, and accuracy
- Curiosity and a proactive approach to uncovering insights from data with minimal supervision
- Ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the hospitality and events industry or a related field.
- Familiarity with revenue management software and tools.
- Understanding of market segmentation and pricing strategies.

Base Salary:
Salary Min: $80,000 Salary Max: $85,000
This role is also eligible for Convene's annual incentive performance bonus plan.
