This role transforms complex data into actionable insights, supports strategic planning, and provides stakeholders with the information needed to achieve revenue goals and enhance customer outcomes.

The starting salary for this role is $65,000, commensurate with experience

What You’ll Do:

  • Explain actual performance versus forecast by brand, geography or customer segments by understanding changes to assumptions (weather events, recall activity, holiday shifts, competitor actions, and other possible drivers of variance vs. forecast)
  • Monitor data quality to ensure reporting and data sets used to make decisions are timely, accurate, and comprehensive
  • Evaluate current performance trends and future reservation trends to help develop an accurate forecast
  • Build, maintain, and refine forecasting models to improve predictive accuracy and support data-driven decision-making
  • Determine & implement Revenue Forecasting best practices leveraging software applications, analytics, data mining, and statistical techniques
  • Collaborate with functional stakeholders to support, enhance, and develop reporting and tools
  • Perform analysis and present findings concisely, both in writing and interactive presentations
  • Assist with development of new demand metrics reporting including variance analysis with detailed explanations

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a highly quantitative field or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, forecasting, or a similar analytical role
  • Proficiency in SQL required; experience with Databricks, Python/PySpark, and forecasting or statistical modeling techniques (e.g., regression, time-series analysis) is a plus
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI preferred
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present findings to stakeholders
  • Comfortable collaborating with distributed and remote teams in a cross-functional environment
