The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for monitoring billing, collections and denial management to improve overall cash flow. This position is responsible for ensuring claims, denials and appeals are efficiently processed and resolving billing-related issues. This role supports collaboration with DRCM to minimize bad debt, improve cash flow and effectively manage billing partners internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee billing, collections and effective denial management.
- Monitor A/R aging and identified claim issues related to Intake, eligibility, authorizations, Oasis, coding, documentation or timely filing.
- Partner with clinical, intake, authorization and QA teams to obtain required corrections, including Oasis updates, eligibility verification, authorization and payer corrections as they arise.
- Act as an internal liaison with the third-party billing company to ensure timely actions are taken to resolve delays.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of work experience related in home health & hospice billing, collections, minimizing bad debt and improving cash flow.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare Home Health billing (NOA, PDGM)
- Familiarity with payer denials and timely filing requirements
- Experience working with third-party billing vendors
- Working knowledge of EMR (HCHB, Wellsky/Kinnser/Consolo)
- Experience supervising staff
- Prior experience with process and employee development
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through

Skills Required
