Job Description

REMOTE

Summary
Assist in gathering and understanding business requirements from stakeholders to support the revenue cycle and other operational departments. Ability to extract, evaluate and transform large datasets into detailed and meaningful reports to be provided to various revenue cycle disciplines including, but not limited to HB, PB, Seamless Access and Coding to help the revenue cycle team identify revenue trends. Ensure data integrity and accuracy. Develop the ability to work closely with IS&T, act as a liaison between IS&T and revenue cycle operations.
Job Duties

  • Compile and meet deliverables for daily, monthly and quarterly reporting within the established timelines to support the departments within revenue cycle and other operational
  • Create and validate reports to support departments within revenue cycle and other operational departments
  • Prioritize/manage report requests and ensure accurate/timely turn around.
  • Assist with providing data analysis to various revenue cycle disciplines including, but not limited to HB,PB, Seamless Access and Coding.
  • Support operational initiatives/projects.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science or a related field.
  • 1 year experience in financial reporting/analysis.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools, including but not limited to SQL based analytics tools, Excel, Access and Word. Ability to work with large datasets, validate for accuracy and data integrity.

Additional Qualifications

    Physical Demands
    Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
