Revenue Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage billing transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve queries and maintain strong client relationships.
• Provide timely updates on critical areas, including time recording, WIP conversion, and cash collection.
• Address client queries regarding invoiced fees, accruals, or other detailed information.
• Oversee complex billing requirements including multi-jurisdiction, multi-practice group, and e-Billing requirements.
• Coordinate billing and credit control requirements with allocated partners.
• Work closely with the wider Finance team to ensure a well-rounded knowledge of strategic issues impacting the firm’s financial risk profile.
• Collaborate with Finance and other Business Services teams to ensure service delivery to the Practice Groups.

Key Requirements:

• Experience as a business partner providing data-driven analysis and insights within a professional services firm.
• Knowledge of the legal market, products, and services.
• Ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills. Proficiency in written Chinese and spoken Cantonese is required.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to self-manage workload and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Desirable

• Experience working within a leading international law firm.
• Familiarity with law firm billing processes and systems (e.g. Elite 3E).
• Mandarin proficiency.
