The Role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Implement and execute a comprehensive revenue assurance strategy aimed at identifying, plugging, and recovering revenue leakages across all business functions.

  2. Perform revenue line risk assessments, continuously updating and maintaining the risk matrix to identify potential revenue risks.

  3. Carry out cyclic revenue tests, follow up with teams for validation, and track identified leakages, recoveries, and changes (process updates or fixes).

  4. Ensure that all business process changes impacting BPR Bank’s ability to identify, monitor, or collect revenue are properly tracked and mitigated.

  5. Collaborate with business teams to develop and test financial workflows for new products, product improvements, projects, and promotions.

  6. Implement a revenue leakage tracking system and provide monthly reports that highlight changes or enhancements to existing products and services.

  7. Extract and distribute revenue assurance system reports to relevant teams, ensuring timely follow-up on actions required.

  8. Work with business and support teams to develop, perform, and validate reconciliations and analyses of revenue streams.

  9. Analyze reports and data to identify areas where revenue leakage may occur, reporting both recovered and sealed revenues.

  10. Implement activities to identify and address anomalies in data integrity and data flow, including system interfaces and sequence checks.

 

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Review Revenue Assurance reports, reconciliations.

  2. Engage with cross-functional teams to validate revenue assurance results and ensure all data is accurate.

  3. Update and maintain the Revenue Leakage Tracker, ensuring it accurately reflects the status of all ongoing actions.

  4. Extract and analyze data to identify potential issues in the bank's revenue processes.

      5.  Perform financial workflow testing and follow up on any required corrections or validation

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, Banking, Statistics Commerce or a related field.

Professional Certification in Accounting qualification CPA/ACCA.

Masters Degree in any related field is an added Advantage.

WORK EXPERIENCE: 

Minimum 6 years of Experience in Financial Analysis and Banking operations/Credit
