Position Summary


The Revenue Assurance Analyst at NOVOS FiBER plays a critical role in ensuring accurate revenue recognition, minimizing revenue leakage, and improving billing and collection processes. This position is responsible for evaluating the integrity of revenue streams, identifying discrepancies, and implementing controls to enhance financial performance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with NetSuite, financial analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support business growth and compliance with U.S. GAAP.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyze, and reconcile revenue streams to ensure accurate recognition in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Identify and investigate billing discrepancies, revenue leakage, and system gaps; work with appropriate teams to resolve and prevent recurrence.
  • Utilize NetSuite and other systems to validate data integrity and optimize revenue-related processes.
  • Support the implementation of automated solutions and system improvements for billing and revenue tracking.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, billing, and accounting teams to ensure accurate and complete invoicing.
  • Assist in the month-end close process by preparing revenue-related journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Perform variance analysis and generate reporting to support revenue forecasting and financial planning.
  • Maintain documentation of revenue policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing schedules and documentation related to revenue and billing.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across the revenue cycle.
Preferred Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue assurance, billing, or financial analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite is required; experience with billing and revenue modules is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles under U.S. GAAP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • CPA or CPA-track preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding ethical and company standards.
