About the role

As a Revenue and Pricing Management Lead, you’ll be responsible for driving Amartha’s profitability through smart pricing strategies and revenue optimization across all payment products. You’ll develop and manage pricing frameworks, analyze financial performance, and ensure every pricing decision aligns with the company’s overall business goals.

In this role, you’ll lead initiatives to balance growth and margin improvement by monitoring product-level P&L, optimizing take rates, and building financial models to forecast revenue performance. You’ll also conduct competitive benchmarking, assess pricing elasticity, and provide actionable insights that strengthen Amartha’s market position.

This position is perfect for a data-driven and strategic leader with strong analytical and financial skills, experience in the payments or fintech industry, and a passion for transforming data into impactful business decisions.

Job Description1. Pricing Strategy & Framework
  • Develop and own end-to-end pricing strategy across all payment products.
  • Establish pricing frameworks, governance, and approval processes.
  • Define pricing models (MDR, fixed fee, tiered pricing, blended rate, promotional pricing).
  • Ensure alignment between pricing strategy and overall business objectives.
2. Revenue Optimization & Profitability
  • Drive revenue growth and margin improvement across payment products.
  • Monitor product-level P&L and contribution margin.
  • Optimize take rate while maintaining transaction growth.
  • Lead profitability analysis by segment (agent, consumer, enterprise).
3. Competitive Pricing & Market Intelligence
  • Conduct market benchmarking and competitor pricing analysis.
  • Recommend pricing adjustments to maintain competitiveness.
  • Evaluate pricing elasticity and customer behavior impact.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory pricing considerations.
4. Pricing Operations & Governance
  • Oversee pricing implementation and operational execution.
  • Ensure pricing accuracy across systems and channels.
  • Standardize pricing documentation and internal policies.
  • Manage pricing approval workflow and exception handling.
5. Data & Financial Analysis
  • Build pricing simulation models and scenario analysis.
  • Conduct sensitivity and break-even analysis.
  • Partner with Finance to forecast revenue and margin projections.
  • Establish dashboards to monitor revenue, take rate, and cost structure.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Product teams for new product pricing.
  • Work with Commercial/Sales on custom pricing proposals.
  • Align with Risk and Compliance for regulatory considerations.
  • Support leadership with pricing insights and strategic recommendations.
7. Team Leadership
  • Lead and develop the Pricing team.
  • Set performance targets and KPIs.
  • Build analytical capabilities within the team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Pricing, Revenue Management, Financial Planning, or Payments/Fintech industry.
  • Strong background in payment products (MDR, interchange, gateway fee, QRIS, remittance, PPOB, etc.).
  • Experience managing product-level P&L and pricing governance.
  • Proven track record in driving profitability improvement.
  • Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.
  • Deep understanding of payment cost structure (scheme fee, switch fee, partner fee, operational cost).
  • Experience with pricing tools, BI dashboards, and Excel/SQL.
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into strategic decisions.
