Job Title: Revenue Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Revenue Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting revenue realization, tracking profitability, and providing key insights to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with the sales and delivery teams to understand project pipelines, delivery timelines, and potential risks and opportunities that may impact revenue. This position is ideal for a recent MBA graduate with a strong finance background and a passion for data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Forecasting:

• Develop and maintain revenue forecasting models based on input from sales forecasts, delivery schedules, and historical data.
• Analyze project pipelines, identify potential roadblocks, and adjust revenue projections accordingly.
• Track actual revenue against forecasts and identify variances.
• Provide regular revenue reports to management with clear explanations of key trends and insights.

Profitability Analysis:

• Monitor project profitability by analyzing revenue, costs, and margins.
• Identify factors impacting profitability and recommend strategies for improvement.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue and profitability.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with sales and delivery teams to gather information and ensure alignment on revenue projections.
• Collaborate with finance team members on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across different departments.

Qualifications:

• Education: BSc in Accounting and Finance or MBA with a specialization in Finance or a related field.

Must Have Skills:

• Fresh graduate to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Proficiency in building financial models, performing data analysis, and creating reports.
• Able to effectively communicate findings and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Highly accurate and meticulous in data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of accounting standards related to revenue recognition.
