Revenue Analyst

About This Role

In this role, you will be a significant contributor in the revenue accounting and   operations   process   for   OutSystems   to   achieve   compliance   with accounting standards, including both US GAAP and IFRS. You will work crossfunctionally to ensure revenue streams and commissions (Sales Reps and Partners) are compliant and the revenue close process is efficient, accurate and controlled. The ideal candidate will have some experience with Netsuite-Advanced Revenue Management module, SalesForce/ CPQ, Xactly CEA, Corporate Accounting either from the technology industry or working for a top tier Audit firm with SaaS experience.

What You Will Lead/Do or Key Responsibilities

• Global company sales orders (average quarterly volume of 300 sales orders) daily detailed review/ validation through Uiptah robot and reconciliation creator.

• Active participation in the project with Uipath for the sales orders robot improvement. 

• Provide guidance on sales orders validation and working closely with other teams (Order Provisioning, Digital, Accounting, ...) to resolve any questions.

• Monthly automatic input of Sales Reps and Partner Commissions on Xactly CEA tool for deferral calculation, analysis and reporting to other teams (Accounting and FPA).

• Assist with other month-end close tasks as needed related to sales orders, commissions and revenue.

• Support ad-hoc analysis, other projects and the Revenue Ops Team in general as needed.

• Continue to improve and iterate on processes and controls (including SOX)   around   sales   orders   validation   and   commissions   deferral calculation reporting.

• Assist with internal and external audits (Annual and Quarterly reviews) by preparing any needed support, analysis, audit schedules, etc.

Qualifications / What You Need To Succeed

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 

• 2 or more years of experience.

• Advanced Excel skills required and is preferable experience using Salesforce, CPQ and NetSuite.

• Detail-oriented   with   the   ability   to   manage   multiple   initiatives simultaneously.

• Able to give clear and consistent recommendations and/or instructions to team members.

• Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.

• Excellent writing proficiency and oral presentation skills in Portuguese and English.

• Excellent listening, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
