Team Overview

The Finance & Accounting team at Kenect plays a key role in scaling our operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting our continued growth. As the company expands rapidly, we’re looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Revenue Accounting Manager to build and lead our revenue recognition and billing infrastructure.

About This Role

As Revenue Accounting Manager, you will lead Kenect’s revenue accounting and billing functions. This is a high-impact role ideal for a CPA with a strong foundation in public accounting who’s ready to make the move into a dynamic SaaS environment. You’ll oversee revenue recognition, manage billing and collections, and ensure full compliance with ASC 606.

You'll partner with leaders across Sales, Customer Experience, Operations, and Product, helping align our quote-to-cash systems with our AI-driven growth strategy. This is your chance to help shape the financial backbone of a company that’s disrupting an entire industry.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead Revenue Operations Strategy: Own the full revenue lifecycle from contract to cash. Develop and scale revenue accounting policies, processes, and controls that support Kenect’s rapid growth and AI-driven product evolution.
  • Ensure ASC 606 Compliance: Serve as the internal expert on revenue recognition. Lead reviews of new contracts, product launches, and pricing models for compliance and financial impact.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Sales, Customer Experience, Operations, and Product teams to align business operations with financial reporting. Educate stakeholders on accounting impacts and proactively influence decisions.
  • System Ownership & Optimization: Oversee the integrity of Salesforce CPQ/Billing and Sage Intacct integrations. Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the quote-to-cash workflow.
  • Drive Billing & Collections Excellence: Lead efforts to streamline billing operations and improve collections. Identify root causes of friction and drive initiatives that reduce DSO and improve cash flow.
  • Sales Tax Strategy & Oversight: Own Kenect’s sales tax compliance strategy. Coordinate with external advisors and ensure timely filings and accurate accruals across jurisdictions.
  • Executive Reporting & Insights: Deliver actionable insights on revenue trends, churn, product performance, and deferred revenue. Influence leadership decisions with financial analysis that connects accounting to strategic outcomes.
  • Build for Scale: Identify, design, and implement process improvements that prepare Kenect for the next stage of growth—including international expansion, new product lines, or increased transaction volume.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in public accounting and/or SaaS revenue accounting
  • CPA or actively pursuing
  • Strong working knowledge of ASC 606
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ/Billing and Intacct preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, solve problems, and work cross-functionally in a high-growth environment
  • Experience aligning accounting operations with fast-evolving product lines, ideally in tech or SaaS
