As a Revenue Accountant at Cohere, you will:
Be responsible for timely and accurate completion of assigned month, quarter, and year-end revenue-related close items, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and analysis
Review sales orders for accuracy and ensure correct entry into the system
Ensure proper billing setup and execution
Apply customer cash receipts to outstanding invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payment application
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication regarding billing, collections, and account reconciliation
Support external audit requirements related to revenue
Assist the Finance team with ad hoc research, reporting and projects as it pertains to revenue, deferred revenue, AR and ARR
You may be a good fit if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
2–4 years of experience in order-to-cash, revenue accounting preferably in a SaaS environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational skills.
A proactive problem-solving mindset and a “can-do” attitude.
Experience working with Salesforce and NetSuite (preferred).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with customers.
