The role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated accountant to join our Finance Team. You will report to the Revenue Manager, Europe and work closely with Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Pricing, Logistics, Internal Control and Financial Accounting.
The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast paced and constantly changing environment across many different functions within the business and the finance organisation.
The Responsibilities:

Develop a strong understanding of Trend Micro’s business
-
Ensure timely and accurate completion of all monthly and quarterly revenue-related processes including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for all P&L and related balance sheet accounts e.g., deferred revenue
-
Preparation of journal entries and reconciliations for inventory and COGS
-
Work closely with external auditors to ensure clean and timely audits of revenue related transactions and accounts
-
Preparation of revenue related adjustments and considerations for local GAAP reporting in various countries throughout Europe
-
Participate in ad hoc projects and process improvements as required

Ensure compliance with key internal controls including close coordination with internal auditors

Assist with the provision of training on revenue recognition rules, policies and practices across finance and other departments

Build relationships with business stakeholders and collaborate with these stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting of marketplace revenue and COGS

Maintain documentation for all review and compliance work completed

You Have:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma
-
A recognized accounting qualification
-
Big 4 / Top 10 background and/or accounting experience in a multinational company, preferably within the software/Tech industry.

Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.
-
Working experience with IFRS 15 or ASC 606 is preferred but not essential.

Strong ability to multi-task; able to prioritise and manage competing goals and responsibilities.

Superb attention to detail.

Strong computer and analytical skills including proficiency in Excel. Tableau experience is a plus.
