| As an Appliance Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for grading, inspection repair and testing a wide range of domestic appliances. Ideally experience with repair of domestic appliances is essential however comprehensive training will be provided. We are seeking motivated individuals with commitment, drive, and determination who can thrive in a diverse and challenging working environment in the well-publicised industry of electronics recycling.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault finding and diagnosis of a range of domestic appliances
- Repair of products after grading
- Harvesting spare parts from donor products
- Determine the product serves its original purpose and works correctly
- Completing all required paperwork
- Pro-actively helping and supporting other team members
- Base level electrical awareness and aptitude
- Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines, maintaining a safe work environment for all staff.
- Quality Control: Good attention to detail is essential as the role of appliance engineer is vital to our operation. Ensure that work is completed to the highest quality standards while meeting environmental and safety regulations.
- Work Area Maintenance: Keep the surrounding area clean and organized, adhering to company policies on workplace cleanliness and hygiene.
Process Monitoring and Reporting: Track and document machine performance, production metrics, and any operational issues, reporting them to supervisors as required.
