This is a unique opportunity to join the Retrofit Solutions team within Customer Services as a Retrofit Solutions Engineer. Part of Customer Service Engineering & Maintenance, the Retrofit Solutions organization has the mission to deliver and support value-added Retrofit Solutions packages to maintain continued aircraft airworthiness and improve customer operations and profitability. You will join a dynamic team of, collaborating at a transnational level with colleagues in Europe. You will be involved in a wide scope, in charge of delivering Service Bulletin dossier and associated engineering data related to hydro-mechanical topics, applicable to both fleet efficiency improvements and upgrade services on all Airbus fleets.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
Deliver the Service Bulletin dossier and associated Engineering data within target, ensuring coordination with Engineering centres, contributing to quality assurance.
Lead engineering activities related to the Service Bulletin, managing and coordinating from preparation to handover with the Author.
Manage all deliverables in accordance with the set framework, acting as a project manager identifying risks and opportunity, proposing mitigation plans, performing appropriate escalation and communicating to relevant stakeholders.
Provide Retrofit Solution Engineering technical expertise, and engineering configuration analysis.
Build and deliver the Definition Dossier for MOD under SIM responsibility.
Accountable for drawing impact analysis prior to Service Bulletin launch, supporting validation and customer embodiment for Retrofit Solution Engineering scope.
ABOUT YOU
Degree in Aeronautics or Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with Design Office related experience (at OEM or MRO).
Experience with installation management; reading of installation drawings, Product Breakdown Structure, configuration and management of installation drawings.
Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Software, including Catia, DPDS, GILDA, APS, and change process software such as ICC-ACP, ICC-CADB, MCT.
