The Role

Description:

The Research Associate will join the team as “the Tip of the Spear,” an integral part of launching, researching, executing, and successfully completing searches for Highspring clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

This member will be responsible for supporting Highspring team members, which includes:

  • Participating in new search, client kick-off calls, and related internal launch efforts.
  • Leading research and recruiting strategy development and ongoing efforts throughout a search life cycle.
  • Organizing target research, mapping, identification, and networking sources through CRM and multiple online tools and search engines.
  • Knowledge and management of database/CRM systems.
  • Committed to using web-based querying and searching and providing ongoing research support through the search.
  • Working with multiple teams and directors at one time on multiple searches across a variety of industries.
  • Learning and following the Highspring recruiting process on each search.
    • First 30 Days:
      • Work with training to get up to date on all tech/office related tools and programs.
      • Spend time with Highspring team members learning recruiting processes, CRM platforms, and other web-based tools.
      • Spend time with internal recruiting team and others to understand retained search recruiting process.
      • Train on search techniques and programs through training and exercises.
      • Proactively pursue understanding of Highspring’s multiple industries: companies, private equity firms, industry trends, and role profiles we recruit.
      • Participate on internal staff team calls and when able, listen in on client and candidate calls.
      • Engage fully, and as early as possible, in the development of research target list(s) and mapping.
      • Coordinate 15-minute introductory calls/meetings with Highspring members across other geographic locations.
    • 30-90 Days:
      • Assume research lead role on multiple searches, work directly with Highspring Managing Director team in driving execution.
      • Weekly participation in preparing and distributing reports and engaging on client calls.
      • When appropriate, engage in supporting position description development, reference calls, and candidate profile development.
      • Assist in managing CRM and other web-based candidate platforms.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or two or more years’ work experience in Recruiting/Search, Sales, Project Management, Consulting, or Research Analyst or related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Microsoft 360 / Outlook.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Private equity or Recruiting experience preferred but not required.

Location:  In office.

Hybrid/Remote option may be considered with Management approval.


Travel Requirements:  

Less than 5% (almost no travel)

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Highspring believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure to be between $55,000 and $65,000. The individual may also be eligible for a variety of bonus and financial incentives based on individual and company performance.
