About the role.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant Retail Benelux (Part-Time Temporary Position) to support the Retail Marketing team across the Benelux region. In this role, you will provide hands-on support for digital marketing, social media management, product information administration, customer complaint coordination, and marketing operations. You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day execution of marketing activities while maintaining high standards of accuracy, organization, and customer focus.
This is a temporary part-time assignment running from 2 November 2026 through 20 June 2027. We are looking for a candidate who is available between 50% and 70% FTE throughout the assignment.
What you'll be doing.
- Manage and follow up on customer complaints in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.
- Maintain and update product information within datapools and internal systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency across channels.
- Support the management and optimization of product content for retail and e-commerce partners.
- Manage social media activities for Benelux brands and products across multiple platforms.
- Create engaging and brand-aligned content for social media channels.
- Plan, schedule, and publish social media content.
- Support paid social media campaigns and monitor campaign performance.
- Engage with online communities and respond to consumer interactions where appropriate.
- Track social media performance, prepare basic reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Create and administer purchase orders (POs) and promotional allowances (PAs), while supporting budget planning and monitoring.
- Support packaging change implementation in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Assist with website content updates and ensure consistency of product and brand information across digital touchpoints.
What you'll need to be successful.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience in a marketing support, administrative, digital marketing, or similar role.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good understanding of digital marketing principles and social media platforms.
- Experience with content creation tools and social media management platforms is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- French language skills are considered a plus.
About the team.
You will be part of the Retail Marketing team supporting the Benelux region. The team works cross-functionally with Sales, Category Management, Digital, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and external partners to ensure effective execution of marketing initiatives, product launches, consumer promotions, and digital brand activities. This role provides valuable exposure to a broad range of marketing disciplines while contributing to the team's operational excellence.
