The Role
The Strategic Partnership Manager will play a key role within Auror's North American team, embedding our partnership approach with retailers and leveraging our enterprise SaaS solutions. This role is ideal for someone who excels at relationship building, seeks variety, and has a strong background in SaaS commercial sales. You will be seen as a thought leader and trusted advisor for both our customers and the industry alike.
You will collaborate closely with our Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless transitions from Sales and robust support across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Nurturing and Growing Existing Relationships
- Client Management: Engage with senior executives and Asset Protection/Loss Prevention leaders at high-profile retail clients to drive adoption of Auror's enterprise SaaS solutions aimed at reducing crime and increasing store safety.
- Strategic Advising: Act as a strategic advisor, suggesting innovative solutions and ideas to enhance the value derived from our partnerships.
- Proactive Engagement: Identify opportunities for Auror to become central to our retailers' LP ecosystems, proposing forward-thinking strategies and technologies.
- Sales Growth: Leverage your commercial sales experience to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, driving revenue growth within existing accounts.
- Contract Negotiations: Lead contract renewal negotiations, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with business objectives.
- Customer Relationship Building: Quickly get up to speed with key customers, forging strong relationships with senior executives and LP leaders.
- Performance Reviews: Deliver quarterly business review packs, showcasing results and providing updates on ongoing projects.
- Collaboration: Work with the Customer Success Team to meet engagement plans and targets.
Supporting the LP Industry
- Event Participation: Actively participate in and facilitate industry events, and collaborate with our Writer to develop thought leadership content.
Requirements
As one of our Strategic Partnership Managers, you will have the following skills:
- Experience: 5+ years in roles such as Management Consultant, Strategic Account Manager, or similar, with significant exposure to enterprise SaaS solutions and commercial sales.
- Sales Acumen: Proven track record in SaaS commercial sales, including managing complex sales cycles, identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and closing deals.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify and solve business problems for customers.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the enterprise SaaS sales process and willingness to learn the Retail Loss Prevention space.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for building strong relationships at all stakeholder levels, including executives and senior management in large organizations.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to build and execute data-driven strategies for key accounts.
- Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and dynamic work environments, able to adapt to changing priorities and pace.
- Ability to travel up to 20% to meet and collaborate with our customers

At Auror, we value co-location and have a hybrid flexible working model; the Auror office is located in the RiNo Neighborhood where our Retail Partnerships team spends 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely. This is a Denver-based role.
