Greenberg Traurig's internationally recognized Restructuring & Special Situations Practice has a broad range of experience developing creative and effective strategies to address the highly complex issues that arise in connection with in- and out-of-court reorganizations, restructurings, workouts, liquidations, and distressed acquisitions and sales, both domestically and in cross-border proceedings. Our Salt Lake City office in particular has a practice focused on Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and out-of-court workouts and cross-border insolvency cases.
Applicants to this role should have 2-4 years of general restructuring and bankruptcy experience related to Creditor’s rights, distressed M&A, bankruptcy litigation, and cross-border insolvency matters. The ideal candidate will have experience with out-of-court restructurings, debt exchange transactions, appearing in court and drafting pleadings, and drafting transactional documents for M&A and finance transactions. Candidates should have excellent law school qualifications and be in good standing with the Utah State Bar.
