Role overview

We are looking for a results focused Manager to join our Restructuring Advisory team at FRP Advisory (Isle of Man) Ltd. You will work on a wide range of assignments across both advisory and formal engagements. You will take a lead role in managing a portfolio of insolvency cases, including, liquidations, receiverships, CVL’s and MVL’s ensuring statutory compliance whilst being responsible for stakeholder engagement throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of insolvency cases
  • Managing multiple priorities and leading teams across concurrent projects
  • Supervise case progression and ensure compliance with insolvency legislation
  • Draft high-quality reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Liaise with stakeholders including directors, creditors, legal advisors, accountants and agents
  • Undertake investigations into financial and legal matters.
  • Manage team members and contribute to colleague development
  • Contribute to internal training, process improvement, and technical updates
  • Strong ability to delegate, review work and provide technical guidance to team members
  • Ability to balance high-level analysis with strong attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key issues, assess risks and develop practical solutions
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify client needs and business development opportunities

Qualifications

  • Degree educated
  • A Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/ICAS) and/or relevant professional qualification
  • Experience in managing insolvency and advisory cases
  • Technical knowledge of insolvency legislation and procedures
  • Excellent report-writing skills
  • Capable of managing competing priorities and delivering under pressure
  • Astute and commercially minded

Skills Required

  • Degree educated
