As an Internal Project Manager (IPM) for Complex Equipment & Turnkey Projects, you will be a pivotal leader on our Project Team. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the delivery and cost of projects through proactive risk and opportunity management, cross-functional mitigation action plans, and change management discipline. You will work closely with a core team of cost and schedule experts to achieve our critical project targets and drive our company’s success.

Rôle & Responsabilités

  • Capitaliser sur les retours d’expérience de projets similaires afin d’identifier et d’évaluer le périmètre et les risques durant la phase d’appel d’offres, et fournir un retour pertinent à l’équipe commerciale.

  • Participer aux réunions de lancement de projet pilotées par les équipes commerciales.

  • Analyser les documents clés remis avec le·la Chef·fe de Projet et le·la responsable contrat, et collaborer pour définir et documenter les risques coûts et planning du projet.

  • Constituer l’équipe projet lors du lancement, présenter les membres transverses, définir le planning de lancement et revoir les risques, opportunités, hypothèses clé liées à la livraison et aux coûts.

  • Soutenir l’équipe coûts & planning dans la coordination des réunions d’engagement projet, où les références temps et coûts sont actés, objectifs, prévisions et risques sont discutés pour lancer le plan d’exécution.

  • Conduire la réunion de stratégie IPM au lancement pour communiquer la stratégie globale coûts et planning, et définir le rythme opérationnel du projet.

  • Animer les réunions IPM hebdomadaires pour revoir les risques et opportunités coûts/planning et identifier les plans d’action nécessaires.

  • Piloter les actions de mitigation avec les responsables fonctionnel·les, organiser des réunions ad hoc pour résoudre les points bloquants, escalader si nécessaire et informer le·la PM & le·la CM.

  • Fournir un soutien continu au Chef·fe de Projet et au·à la responsable contrat en intégrant les mises à jour des risques et écarts coûts/planning dans le Daily Management.

  • Mettre en place un processus rigoureux de gestion du changement pour suivre toutes les déviations par rapport au budget et au périmètre vendus.

  • Gérer les demandes de changement client : collecter les impacts coûts/planning, évaluer les options et suivre la mise en œuvre.

  • Suivre les initiatives de réduction des coûts du projet, évaluer l’avancement et escalader les points critiques.

  • Élaborer et exécuter un plan de suivi des jalons de paiement et collecter les documents nécessaires auprès des fonctions concernées pour soutenir la facturation.

Qualifications requises

  • Ingénieur ( Bac +5 ) ou niveau équivalent.

  • Minimum 8 ans d’expérience transversale incluant des responsabilités opérationnelles et/ou en gestion de projet.

  • Capacité démontrée à diriger dans un environnement matriciel transversal.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Leverage lessons learned from other similar projects to identify and assess scope and risks during the bid/proposal phase, providing valuable feedback to ITO.

  • Attend and contribute to Readiness Release, Advance Release, and Full Release Meetings led by ITO.

  • Review the Key Handover Documents with the PM & CM and collaborate on strategizing and documenting the cost and schedule risks for the Project.

  • Assemble the project team at launch to introduce the cross-functional team members, set project launch schedule and review the key Project risks, opportunities, and assumptions for execution related to delivery and cost.

  • Support the Cost & Schedule Core Team members in their respective coordination of the Commitment Meetings, whereby the baseline, targets, forecasts, and risks are discussed with the Project Team and supporting functions to launch the execution plan.

  • Conduct an IPM Execution Strategy Meeting during Launch to communicate the overall cost and schedule strategy to the Project Team and supporting functions, and to set the Project cost and schedule operating rhythm and expectations for daily management.

  • Lead weekly IPM meetings with the Project Team members to review the latest cost and schedule risks & opportunities. Identify action plans required for mitigation.

  • Drive specific mitigation efforts for cost and schedule risks with respective functional owners through current op rhythms and offline, set up ad-hoc meetings to solve complex/stuck issues, escalate when leadership support is needed and communicate for updates to PM & CM as needed.

  • Support the PM & CM with the latest risk action plans and updates, flow cost and schedule variance output from the weekly IPM rhythms into the PM’s Daily Management reviews.

  • Create disciplined change management process and reporting to track all deviations and variances versus as-sold budget and scope with functions.

  • For customer change orders, gather inputs on cost and schedule impact from the relevant functions, assess options, and track implementation of change.

  • Work with the Project & cross-functional team to follow through on the Project's Cost Out initiatives to implementation, assessing progress during execution against cost savings targets and escalating to PM and leadership team to resolve critical issues.

  • Develop and execute a plan to track Project Payment Milestone events and collect documentation from relevant functions to support the invoicing process.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of cross-functional business experience with operational and/or project management experience
