Cette personne cherche à bien comprendre l'environnement du client et à aligner les solutions Ricoh appropriées sur ses objectifs stratégiques en développant des relations avec les décideurs et les influenceurs. Le titulaire de ce poste a comme responsabilité première la direction stratégique, la croissance et les résultats.

Responsabilités principales

  • Identifier, qualifier et développer de nouvelles opportunités d’affaires grâce à une approche proactive de prospection, tant par téléphone qu’en personne.
  • Comprendre l’environnement d’affaires des clients et établir des relations durables avec les décideurs et les principales parties prenantes.
  • Déterminer les initiatives d’affaires du client et expliquer, selon la vision de Ricoh, comment les services peuvent mener aux résultats d’affaires souhaités. 
  • Analyser et comprendre les structures organisationnelles, les priorités, les politiques et les processus d’approvisionnement propres au secteur public.
  • Appliquer une approche de vente consultative axée sur les résultats d’affaires, en alignant les solutions Ricoh sur les enjeux et les objectifs de chaque client.
  • Élaborer et présenter des plans stratégiques de développement des affaires en collaboration avec les intervenants internes, notamment les gestionnaires, les conseillers, les équipes opérationnelles, les services juridiques et les groupes de soutien.
  • Examiner et piloter les réponses aux appels d’offres et aux demandes de propositions complexes.
  • Utiliser efficacement les principaux outils de vente et d’intelligence d’affaires tels que CRM, LinkedIn, Power BI, Hoovers et autres plateformes de recherche afin d’identifier et de développer de nouvelles opportunités.
  • Gérer des négociations complexes et des cycles de vente stratégiques, tout en assurant la coordination entre les équipes juridiques, la direction et les différentes parties prenantes.
  • Faire preuve d’excellentes aptitudes en communication, en présentation et en influence, tant auprès des clients que des partenaires internes.

Qualifications (formation, expérience et certifications)

  • Baccalauréat ou expérience équivalente requise.
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience en vente dans un environnement B2B, en technologies de l'information ou en vente consultative.
  • Bilingue (Français & Anglais).
  • Relations et contacts établis sur le marché du secteur public pour la province de Québec.
  • Expérience de travail avec secteur public et parapublic, un atout.

  • Permis de conduire valide et véhicule fiable requis (et assurance auto conformément à la politique de Ricoh)
  • Excellentes compétences en communication à l’oral et par écrit, y compris d’excellentes compétences en production de rapports et en prévisions

Strategic Account Executive - Public Sector - Quebec / Account Manager 2

The Strategic Account Executive -Public Sector plays a key role in solving customers' critical business challenges while developing new business relationships and expanding existing ones. This individual seeks to understand each customer's business environment and align the appropriate Ricoh solutions to their strategic objectives by building relationships with decision-makers and key influencers. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive strategic direction, business growth, and overall results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting activities, both by phone and in person.
  • Understand customers' business environments and build long-term relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Identify customers' business initiatives and articulate how Ricoh's solutions and services can help achieve their desired business outcomes.
  • Analyze and understand organizational structures, priorities, policies, and procurement processes specific to the public sector.
  • Apply a consultative, value-based sales approach by aligning Ricoh solutions with each customer's business challenges and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and present strategic business development plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders, including leadership, subject matter experts, operations, legal, and support teams.
  • Lead and coordinate responses to complex Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and tender opportunities.
  • Leverage sales and business intelligence tools such as CRM, LinkedIn, Power BI, Hoovers, and other research platforms to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Manage complex negotiations and strategic sales cycles while coordinating efforts across legal, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing skills with both customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications (Education, Experience & Certifications)

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a B2B, information technology, or consultative selling environment.
  • Bilingual (English & French)
  • Established network and relationships within the Quebec public sector market.
  • Experience working with public and parapublic sector organizations is considered an asset.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required (with automobile insurance in accordance with Ricoh policy).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong reporting and forecasting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of document management solutions and workflows is considered an asset.
