Position Summary

The Respiratory Specialist focuses on training both external customers and internal team members. This includes, but is not limited to, providing technical, educational, operational and sales support to assist in meeting Vero-Biotech and customer service objectives. THIS POSITION WILL SERVICE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND THE BAY AREA AND YOU MUST RESIDE IN THE AREA.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•    Provide training and support to Vero Biotech customers as well as other key members of multidisciplinary teams.•    Plan, coordinate, and implement clinical evaluations to ensure clinical education and operation of Vero Biotech products. •    Answer unsolicited questions of customers and is also responsible for in-servicing of all Vero Biotech products.
•    Conduct on-call duties that may require the employee to work off hours when needed.
•    Develop and administer training programs for customers and Vero Biotech employees demonstrate and participate in practical exercises as required.
•    Support the medical industry through best practice techniques and functionalities of all Vero Biotech products.
•    Perform necessary documentation including customer and employee training.
•    Keep up to date with clinical studies, white papers, and current best practices, and educate customers and Vero Biotech employees based upon data.
•    Represent Vero Biotech at conferences, trade shows, seminars, and workshops.
•    Travel up to 80% of work time.
•    Other duties consist of maintaining all certifications of vendor hospital credentials, training employees in the clinical field, supporting clinical  research, and participating in case reviews.
•    Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Qualifications

•    Possess at least 5 years of experience relevant to the clinical specialty field.
•    Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care, or a related field.
•    Must be credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
•    Proficiency in MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

•    Standard office and laboratory environment.
•    Standard hospital environment.
 

Skills Required

  • Minimum 5 years experience relevant to the clinical specialty field
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or related field
  • Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must reside in Northern California/Bay Area
  • Able to travel up to 80% and perform on-call/off-hours duties
  • Maintain hospital vendor credentials and required certifications
