We are looking for an organized and proactive Resourcing Specialist for our Houston branch to effectively manage resource requests through successful identification, and assignment of consultants! If maximizing opportunities to align client needs with consultant skills, availability and interests AND grow our business sounds like an interesting challenge, this is a role for you! Utilizing various management tools and internal and external partners, you will proactively assign and manage IT professionals’ schedules for a variety of projects primarily based in the Vancouver branch but also extending out across our other North American branches.

A Day in the Life:

  • Managing, evaluating and processing resourcing requests
  • Managing consultants’ profiles to ensure they are current
  • Administering projects in our CRM
  • Generating reports on availability and utilization to identify critical trends or opportunities
  • Maintaining critical data that drives business decisions
  • Providing resourcing orientation for new hires
  • Collaborating with other branches to lend and borrow consultants, driving overall utilization across the organization
  • Working in partnership with project managers, consultants and account managers on project schedules to create accurate forecasting
  • Collaborating with recruitment and client services managers to determine skills in high demand and help drive priorities for hiring
  • Working with response management services to provide data for proposals
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on skills and availability
  • Meet with functional teams to gain updates on forecasted utilization in projects services 

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of corporate experience Resourcing, IT Recruiting or managing / coordinating data, processes or teams
  • High attention to detail and ability to organize priorities
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and upbeat demeanor
  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Experience working specifically within a consulting or resource management role
  • Strong knowledge of IT skillsets
