JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the clinic enterprise team, the Resource RN position is proficient in all duties of the Registered Nurse and functions as the resource person for the clinic nursing teams. The Resource RN acts as a liaison between the Practice Manager and the nursing team.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs all the principal duties and responsibilities of the registered nurse as required.
- Ensures the nursing team is trained effectively in all technical responsibilities.
- Ensures clinical staff are educated on new initiatives or practice changes.
- Assists with onboarding checklist and training new staff after orientation and during the first 90 days of employment.
- Assists Practice Manager with hiring clinical staff.
- Assists with documenting and follow up of clinical incidents including retraining staff if necessary.
- Attend staff meetings and huddles as needed.
- Assists Practice Manager and Director with other tasks to improve clinical practice.
- Leads initiatives to improve patient safety, outcomes, and the overall quality of care by implementing evidence-based practices and analyzing data.
- Stays up to date on the latest research and technologies in healthcare for improved patient care

Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to work with clinical staff.
Ability to take initiative and proactively assess processed within the clinics.
Ability to lead clinical staff and constructively give feedback.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, multi- task and problem solve in a fast-paced work environment.
Flexibility to adapt to change.
- Requirements:
- Current, active, RN licensure in the state of Kansas.
- At last 3 years of clinical experience.
- Current CPR certification.
