YOUR ROLE
Responsible for ensuring that the supporting competencies (Business Manager, Sales, Start Center, EGMs & HR Manager) provide and input the forecast/updates into the resource management tool in alignment with forecast, project assignments, and engineering costs.
· Drive the roll out of the global tools and process for resource planning as well as cost containment
· Provide guidance and rules for resource planning and cost containment
· Consolidate global data, analyze them, and ensure proper data quality
· Drive more efficient usage of existing resources
· Drive rationalization of the team organization across sites
· Responsible for ensuring that the supporting competencies (Business Manager, Sales, Start Center, EGMs & HR Manager) provide and input the forecast/updates into the resource management tool in alignment with forecast, project assignments and engineering costs
· Per an agreed-to cadence, conduct resource reviews with engineering directors/leadership, finance and unnamed resources as well as project engineering expense
· Escalate to Chief Engineering and Managing Director any nonconforming inputs in the management tool for resolution
· Align with the Footprint Manager to ensure that forecast and inputs are in agreement with site and CB1 forecasts
YOUR BACKGROUND
· Motivation, passion, and self-driven mindset
· Analytical approach with strong business acumen
· Knowledge of fundamental finance principles
· Ability to work across the organization and influence multiple stakeholders
· Experience in resource planning / cost containment
· Team-oriented, with the ability to build strong internal relationships
· Strategic, open-minded, and fluent in English
· Knowledge of forecasting and analytic tools
· Product Development Process knowledge
· 8+ years of experience in similar roles
