We’re looking for an experienced Sales Support Advisor to join our Resource Industries team in Brisbane and play a critical role in coordinating the successful delivery of new mining equipment and capital parts projects from quote through to customer acceptance. This is a permanent, Monday to Friday role.

    What you’ll be doing:

    As a Resource Industries Sales Support Advisor at Hastings Deering, you will:

    • Coordinate equipment deliveries – manage the end-to-end lifecycle of new mining equipment and capital parts orders from quotation through to customer acceptance.

    • Manage commercial administration – prepare quotations, monitor build costs, process invoicing and maintain accurate documentation.

    • Provide project visibility – deliver timely equipment build updates and reporting to Account Managers, customers and key stakeholders.

    • Support tender and contract activities – coordinate tender reviews and work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure requirements are met.

    • Facilitate stakeholder engagement – liaise with Caterpillar, suppliers, shipping providers and customs agents to ensure seamless project execution.

    • Drive continuous improvement – support post-build reviews, identify process improvements and maintain high standards of data integrity across sales systems.

    What you’ll need:

    A successful teammate will have experience in:

    • Sales and project coordination – experience in sales support, order management, project administration or a similar coordination role.

    • Technical understanding – mechanical aptitude or knowledge of Caterpillar equipment is highly advantageous.

    • Commercial acumen – confidence working with quotations, budgets, invoicing and delivery schedules.

    • Exceptional organisation skills – ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

    • Strong stakeholder management skills – proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical, operational and commercial teams.

    • Systems capability – proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar.

    • Industry knowledge – exposure to mining, heavy equipment, industrial or construction environments will be highly regarded.
