In this role, you'll coordinate critical components of the PRA from planning through execution. You'll develop and manage project work plans, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, lead mock auction exercises, monitor milestones, and help ensure key deliverables are completed on time. You'll work closely with stakeholders across MISO to solve problems, improve processes, and keep complex initiatives moving forward.
You'll also analyze planning and auction data, validate inputs and outputs, support quality assurance efforts, and identify opportunities to improve how Resource Adequacy processes are executed. Just as importantly, you'll translate technical information into clear presentations, reports, and recommendations that help leaders make informed decisions.
Success in this role comes from balancing analytical thinking with strong organization, communication, and relationship-building skills. You'll collaborate with technical experts, market specialists, and business leaders while helping shape the future of MISO's capacity market and long-term resource planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or another related discipline.
- At least two (2) years of relevant professional experience coordinating projects, analyzing data, improving business processes, or supporting complex operational or technical programs.
Bonus Experience
- Experience with project, program, or process management.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Experience analyzing complex data and communicating recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in the electric utility, ISO/RTO, energy, or other highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with capacity markets, resource adequacy, transmission planning, or power system operations.
- Experience with GAMS, LOLE studies, or other analytical tools is a plus.

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $90,000-$115,000 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.
